Ride together behind a leader
Start a group ride, share the invite link and see everyone live on the map. The leader picks the route the whole group follows. Send a regroup alert when the group spreads out.
SOS to your group and riders nearby
Flat tyre, dead battery, a dropped bike on a gravel road: one tap reaches your group and nearby riders who opted in. They see where you are and can say they are coming. It stays up until you end it, and ends by itself after 3 hours. SOS needs a phone signal, and it is not an emergency service: in a real emergency call your local emergency number first.
Record and review your rides
Recording keeps going with the screen off. See distance, time, speed and elevation, trim the start and end, import and export GPX, and share a ride by link.
Follow your route line
Ride a saved or imported route with turn hints and an off-route alert that points you back to your line. Off-road and enduro routes follow your GPX line instead of snapping to roads.

Sign in and choose your visibility
Sign in with Apple or Google, then pick who can see you. The default is hidden.
Record a ride or start a group ride
Record on your own, or start a group ride, share the link and ride behind the leader on a live map.
Send an SOS if you need a hand
One tap alerts your group and riders nearby who opted in. In a real emergency call your local emergency number first.
You decide who sees you
Hidden by default. Your exact position goes only to your group and to the riders an SOS reaches.
A map of riders only works if people trust it, so privacy is the default, not a setting you hunt for.

Trim start and end to hide your home
Cut the start and end off any ride you share. A ride shared by link shows no name and has its first and last 300 metres removed.
Location only when you ask
Ride recording and an active group ride use your location, including with the screen off. Stop them and Ridekin stops using it.

Frequently asked questions
Is Ridekin free?
Yes. Ridekin is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases. SOS, group rides and ride recording are all included.
Does it track my location?
Only when you ask it to. Ride recording and an active group ride use your location, including with the screen off. Other riders see you only if you pick a visibility (hidden, my group, group and riders nearby), and then only as an area of about a kilometre. You can stop at any time.
How does SOS work?
One tap sends an SOS to your active group and to riders nearby who opted in to receive nearby SOS. They see where you are and can reply that they are on the way. It stays up until you end it and expires by itself after 3 hours. SOS needs a phone signal, so delivery is not guaranteed. Ridekin is not an emergency service: in a real emergency, call your local emergency number first.
Who can see me on the map?
Nobody, until you choose. Visibility is hidden by default. You can show yourself to your group, or to your group and to riders nearby, for one hour, four hours or until you stop. Riders nearby see only an area of about a kilometre.
Does it work off-road and for enduro?
Yes. Import a GPX file or use a ride you recorded, and follow it with turn hints and an off-route alert that points you back to your line. Off-road routes follow your line instead of snapping to roads.
Which countries and languages?
Ridekin is available worldwide in English, Spanish, German, Russian and Ukrainian. Riders nearby appear only where other riders have opted in.
How is this different from a route app or a group chat?
A route app shows where you went. A group chat cannot show who is nearby. Ridekin records your rides and puts a live group map and an SOS to nearby riders on top.
